Chris Norton

Chris Norton

is a Licensed Real Estate Agent, Business Agent & Strata Managing Agent and a Registered Property Valuer (Associate Member of the Australian Property Institute). Chris is also a Justice of the Peace.

With over twenty five years experience in the property profession, much of which has been specialising in child care, Chris is renowned as a leading industry figure. He regularly consults to high profile Child Care operators, Banks, property valuers, private developers, Councils, Churches and corporate groups looking to invest in the child care industry.

Having assumed “the reigns” of the established family Real Estate business in 1997, Chris has focused very much on developing an all inclusive “one stop” child care consultancy. His personal interests lie in the area of site acquisition, development and sales, as well as working through the approvals process to Licensing stage.
Chris has built a specialist consulting team around him, which complements his own expertise and NORONS has enjoyed phenomenal growth over the past five years.

Chris is passionate about child care and providing a quality product/service which is second to none in the market.

The majority of the centres that he has personally developed enjoy good reputations, which is the reason that nortonschildcare Services are increasingly in demand.

Chris is a prominent voice in the industry and he is always readily available to give professional and sound advice regarding all aspects of child care.

Kim Norton

has been involved in the education of children since 1978.
Kim has a Diploma of Teaching, Early Childhood qualified and holds an Associate Diploma in Special Needs – Hearing Impairment. She has worked with the Department of Education as an infants/primary teacher as well as a Teacher of the Deaf. She has also been involved with the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children as a Special Education Consultant. During this time, Kim helped the children in her care, develop their communication skills in either oral or sign language (Auslan).
Kim also has experience with children whose development is delayed and has worked closely with the families of these children to maximise their development.
This is Kim’s passion.

Until recently Kim managed three other new centres in Hornsby, Wahroonga and Vineyard.

Kim is currently involved in the operation of a Norton’s Child Care Centre located at Kenthurst, whose occupancy has greatly increased since she took over the business in January 2007.

Kim also consults with numerous clients in the setting up of child care businesses, including the administrative and compliance issues, policies and procedures, staff training and development, accreditation and child protection.

Clare Parker

brings to the team of consultants over 20 years experience in the corporate world in various senior roles in management, business development and professional services to drive strategic initiatives in performance and cost efficiency improvements.

Clare now owns and operates her own child care centres in Kellyville.

Grahame Percy

is the preferred building designer that Chris Norton has worked with for the past 8 years. Grahame specialises in child care centre designs whilst working with Chris in assisting with clients specifications. Grahame and Chris are involved in the development of a number of centres each year throughout NSW. These include projects for Local Government, church groups, corporates, small groups and individuals all seeking expertise in the child care industry from site acquisition, concept, approval, construction, staffing and management of the going concern business.

Garry Strong

is married with two children and a grandson.

Garry has extensive experience in the building and construction industry having had several roles from working on tools through to management of multi million dollar projects.  For over 30 years Garry has been involved in a wide range of projects from multi level buildings through to Golf Courses and residential precincts. The understanding gained from years of experience has embedded the fundamentals required for the development and construction in the difficult area of childcare. His feasibility studies were robust enough to enable all projects to be presold prior to construction.

The ability to successfully present to individuals or large organizations such as Babcock and Brown, ABC Developmental Learning Centres, Coles Myer, Banks, Clubs, Councils and Government for the purpose of gaining a sale was fundamental to his role.

Garry holds a Diploma in Marketing From the Australian Institute of Management, a Diploma in Human Resource Deakin University a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Sydney Tafe and has studied General Management at Mt Eliza Institute of Management. He also holds a certificate in Real Estate sales and Business Broking and Licenced by Fair Trading NSW.

  3. 56 place childcare at Castle Hill started January 2007 and completed August 2008 – Cnr Excelsior Ave and Old Northern Rd Castle Hill.

Garry was also a consultant to the Sydney Archdiocese from may 2005 to October 2007 where he analysed and project-managed:
